Vanilla Bean Custard

Cooking Time: 15 minutes
Serves: 2

  • 1 cup Nutura Organic Stage 3 Toddler Milk Drink (6 scoops + 200ml water)
  • 1 tablespoon gluten free corn flour
  • 1 egg – lightly beaten
  • ½  teaspoon vanilla bean paste
  • 2 tablespoons of sugar


  • Add Nutura Organic Toddler Milk, corn flour and sugar into a medium saucepan and heat over medium heat on stove
  • Continually stir milk mixture while heating until tiny bubble start to form in the mixture. Remove from heat
  • Add a small amount of eggs using a whisk and then slowly add the rest of the egg to the mixture while continuing to whisk
  • Return the saucepan to the heat and gently whisk until the mixture begins to thicken (~ 2-3 minutes)
  • Remove pan from heat and stir in vanilla bean paste

The custard can be served warm, or put in the fridge to further thicken and serve cold.
